Conference Call Closed 28 April 2006 - Next Call April 2007

Land & Water Australia is seeking applications for conference sponsorship for the 2006/07 financial year.

Land & Water Australia will be sponsoring up to 8 conferences with a maximum budget of $5,000 each. Total budget for this Call will be $30,000.

Applications close on the 28 April 2006.

We receive many requests for conference sponsorships and wish to evaluate these opportunities systematically and equitably. In evaluating
event sponsorship opportunities we will consider:

• the number and diversity of participants;
• the quality of knowledge exchange activities proposed;
• the quality of event organisation and information dissemination;
• diversity between selected conferences;
• the alignment of the subject matter with the  Land_&_Water_Australia_Strategic_R&D_Plan_2005-2010 ( - 2114KB) (pdf - 2115KB)

Later & Water Australia has certain expectations when sponsoring conferences. For our sponsorship we require the following (if not covered in a conference sponsorship package):

• Acknowledge Land & Water Australia by providing signage, or opportunities for signage, at the event;
• Provide complementary display space in the event of an exhibition or trade show;
• Provide verbal acknowledgment at the event, and in the conference proceedings, describing Land & Water Australia's support to the event;
• Distribute Land & Water Australia literature and/or other natural resource management information to event participants via conference packages/satchel inserts;
• Recognise Land & Water Australia in all media advertising by displaying the Land & Water Australia logo and acknowledging that event funding has been provided by Land & Water Australia.
