2008 - 09 Innovation Call

SEEKING INNOVATIVE RESEARCH PROPOSALS IN NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Land & Water Australia is seeking highly innovative R&D projects targeting the sustainable use and management of Australia's natural resources. This Call includes the biophysical, economic and social dimensions of climate, water, vegetation, biodiversity and sustainable production systems. Never before has Australia so much needed new and innovative ideas and technologies to tackle environmental issues facing the country and for developing sustainable production landscapes. This Call focuses deliberately on blue sky, cutting edge and 'out-of-the-square' research. It caters for proof-of-concept work as well as traditional 3-year projects.

Total funds available for this Call are $1.5m, with projects eligible to commence from 1 July 2008. Applicants must be permanent residents or citizens of Australia.
