National Program for Sustainable Irrigation
Calls for Expressions of Interest
Irrigation Research, Development and Extension

The National Program for Sustainable Irrigation (NPSI) invests in research and adoption to improve the sustainability of Australian irrigation. The Program aims to address critical environmental management issues, while generating long-term economic and social benefits that ensure Australian irrigation has a sustainable and productive future.

The Program is calling for proposals for research, development and extension projects.

NPSI will fund projects across three themes:

  1. Sustainable production in a water scarce environment
  2. Sustainable futures and the environment
  3. Knowledge into practice.

The guidelines and template for submitting an Expression of Interest for a research project can be found below. Preliminary enquiries should be directed to Ms Sarah Leonardi, on 02 6263 6031 or sarah.leonardi@lwa.gov.au.
