The mission of the National Land & Water Resources Audit (the Audit) is to provide data, information and nationwide assessments of Australia's land, water and biological resources to support sustainable development. The Australian Government's Natural Heritage Ministerial Board has tasked the Audit with coordinating the collation of data to support reporting under the National Natural Resource Management Monitoring and Evaluation Framework (NM&EF).
The objectives of the project are to generate plain English interpretive reports for the public, which:
communicate the contributions of six agricultural industries to ecologically sustainable development
are based around the final Signposts web profiles for the grains, beef, dairy, horticulture, wine grapes and cotton industries
are developed in consultation with industry, Research and Development Corporations (RDCs) and government stakeholders.
Consultants are invited to submit proposals to generate one or a multiple of industry reports.
The successful submission will demonstrate an understanding of the project brief and deliverables required, propose methods assessed as likely to achieve the project objectives in full and manage associated risks, demonstrate experience and capacity in the proposed team to achieve deliverables within the defined timeframe, demonstrate networks and experience in collaborating with government, RDCs, industry and national data providers on multidisciplinary projects, possess the relevant multidisciplinary technical expertise, and display value for money.
