Land & Water Australia Chairman Bobbie Brazil reappointed

Land & Water Australia Chairman Bobbie Brazil has been reappointed for a further two years to June 2009.

Announcing the appointment recently the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Sussan Ley said Mrs Brazil's experience in business, environmental law, catchment management and planning made her ideal for the position.

Mrs Brazil was initially appointed as Chairman in 2001. She is also Chairman of the Australian Landcare Council and Chancellor of the University of Southern Queensland.
