River Landscapes Research

The National Rivers Consortium, National Riparian Lands R&D Program, National River Contaminants Program invested in research and development activities, as well as in how to exchange knowledge and information between the many different groups involved in river and riparian management. Overall, these programs aimed to assist landholders, government agencies, and community groups to better manage river landscapes. They did this by investing in a range of projects involving environmental, social, economic and knowledge exchange disciplines.
