Planning how our water is used is critical to the sustainability of human and ecological communities. Water planners are faced with the difficult task of evaluating how to "best" distribute this precious resource.
A National Water Commission project, managed by SIRP, is now underway to examine water planning in three regions of Australia. The project aims to develop processes and tools to assist and support people working in this often challenging profession.
