Water use in agriculture

Flume gate on an open channel in Harvey

Land & Water Australia and CSIRO are jointly leading the development of a national vision and strategy for ‘Water Use in Agriculture’.

The strategy will focus on how research development and extension (RD&E) investment can be best used to support more effective and efficient water use in primary industries. The strategy will provide a sound basis for public and private RD&E investment to improve the innovation capacity and skills of our primary industry participants in managing water for multiple uses.

If you would like to contribute your ideas to the strategy please contact Ken Moore who is coordinating the joint response
