Documentation of this work is available on the Audit website.<br /> The scope of the workshop was limited to the key objectives of the NM&amp;EF which are to help assess:</p> <ul> <li>the health of the nation's land, water, vegetation and biological resources; and</li> <li>the performance of Government programs, strategies and policies</li> </ul> <p>Specifically, the scope of the workshop was to explore, within the ECM &ldquo;Matter for Target&rdquo;, the indicators and information products that should be used to meet the NM&amp;EF objectives at a range of scales from regional through to national, ie Audit / NCC activities 1 and 2 above. Although aspects of Activity 3 (data and information management systems) were raised, this was not the primary focus of this workshop.
