The Healthy Country, Healthy People project was undertaken at the behest of the traditional owners in central Arnhem Land in collaboration with a trans-disciplinary team of medical, ecological and social researchers.
The research was designed to test the assertion that investment in Indigenous Cultural and Natural Resource Management (ICNRM) benefits both people and environment.
This fact sheet covers key findings, the background, and recommendations.
