This report contributes to the Audit’s efforts to prioritise the collection and analysis of socioeconomic data to support Australian and state government natural resource management programs. It provides an integrated conceptual framework for prioritising information with potential to support the design and implementation of these programs. The principles arising from these integrated frameworks are complemented by insights into the information priorities and practical constraints of policy advisers in some key natural resource management agencies and programs run by the Australian Government.
