This is a regular serial to be published by the Tropical Rivers and Coastal Knowledge (TRaCK) Program.

In 2007, TRaCK was established as a research hub under the Commonwealth Environment Research Facilities Program - the Australian Government’s commitment to world-class public good environmental research.

A consortium led by Charles Darwin University, CSIRO, Griffith University, Land & Water Australia, the North Australia Indigenous Land and Sea Management Alliance and the University of Western Australia has spent two years developing the research program.

TRaCK are providing the science and knowledge that governments, communities and industries need for the sustainable use and management of Australia’s tropical rivers and estuaries.
