The project presented in this report trials the framework and indicators for wetland extent, distribution and condition on the lagoons in the Darwin region.

The extent and distribution of the lagoons in the Darwin region is presented as mapping based on Quickbird Imagery. As the mapping process took more time than anticipated, the final mapping of all lagoons in the study area will be presented in the Final Milestone Report. This report presents the extent and distribution of 31 selected lagoons.
