Position Paper
The aim of this paper is to examine the likely impacts of the new technologies on the industry over the next quarter century. The paper identifies and defines the new technologies. It reviews their current and possible future applications in the world at large, and then specifically within the wool industry. It examines the threats and opportunities posed by the new technologies, and concludes with recommendations for the wool industry and for the Future Woolscapes project.
